「英国フォーク三美神」Spirogyraが1973年にリリースした3rdアルバム『Bells, Boots and Shambles』です。 
Spirogyraはマーティン・コッカーハムとバーバラ・ガスキンの2人によるデュオです。 
Spirogyraにはドラムはいないためドラムレスの曲も多く、ドラムのある曲でサポートしているのがフェアポート・コンヴェンションのデイヴ・マタックスであることは有名ですが、Spirogyraは1974年のツアーを最後に解散してしまいました。 
出品アイテムですが、英ポリドールからリリースされたオリジナルです。 
この『Bells, Boots and Shambles』は1st,2ndに比べて流通枚数が極めて少ないためとにかく貴重な一枚です。 
状態ですが、非常に傷みやすいジャケットにもかかわらずスレや痛み等がほとんど見られず極めて良好です。 
盤もトレースされた形跡もあまり見られずピカピカで、これ以上の状態を望むことは非常に困難であると思います。 
とにかく目にすることが少ない英ポリドールの原盤であることに加えて極めて状態の良いものの入手は難しいと思いますが、1973年のリリース後すでに50年という時間が経過していることを考慮して頂き興味のある方がおられましたらよろしくお願いします。
