アルチンボルドの植物モチーフの胸像が想起されるシリーズですが、この作品の、克明に宿る植物の細密描写は、人体解剖図のようにも見え、某幻想文学作家の「薔薇の根を体内に根付かせたい」という登場人物のセリフが脳裏をよぎり、購入してしまいました。
