サンドイッチサイレンサー
「若き熱意の形」
サイレンサーというグループが結成されたのは1969年6月6日のこと。才気溢れる二十代のクリエイターが集まり、「何か新しい、これまでにない実験的な仕事をやりたい」という熱意を形にした。グラフィックデザイナー、コピーライター、カメラマン、イラストレーター、インテリアデザイナーらが赤坂のバーに集まった。メンバーは浅葉克己、加納典明、小西啓介、倉俣史朗、桜井郁男、長友啓典、黒田征太郎、上條喬久、鋤田正義、高橋稔、戸村浩、日暮真三、青葉益輝、長浜治(長濱治)、椎根和、伊藤隆道の総勢16名。数回の会合と議論を重ねた末、「サイレンサー」は1969年8月、日本橋プラザ・ディックにおいて第1回サイレンサー展を開催している。1970年にも第2回サイレンサー展を同じ場所で開催したのちに、しばらく沈黙し、1972年3月より、雑誌『新婦人』に個々の作品の連載を開始。本書はその連載作品の集大成となる。写真、グラフィック、イラストレーションを織り交ぜ、個性豊かな面々が誌面を彩っている。
